My name is Chris Lochinski and I’m an unconventional kind of graphic designer.    I’ve done work in graphic design, web design, motion graphics, and video post production.  I live by the old adage, “the instant you stop learning is the instant you stop improving.”

I’ve been working as a graphic designer for 4 years.  I started Lock Designs with one principle in mind; everyone deserves great design.  This has been the guiding concept since that day.  Great design comes from getting to know you.  Learning about the project, understanding your passion, and asking what your long term goals are and where you want to go.  So that when it comes time, you’ll be proud to be associated with the work that you’ve help create.   I understand that at times like these not everyone can afford the steep costs that other graphic designers and firms will charge; my rates reflect that idea.  You can check out my resume right here.

The Greater Good?

Everyone deserves great graphic design, is the mantra of my business. I realized early on that people have limited options when it comes to getting great graphic design. They can work with cousin Bob who kind of knows photoshop, risk working with a crowd sourcing site, or hire an design firm. Unfortunately, not everyone can afford to work with the best design firm, so my goal is to offer an afford middle ground alternative to the small business graphic design dilemma. I believe that by discounting my rates to work with start ups and small businesses, they'll be more likely to reinvest the money saved back into their business creating more opportunities for someone else.
